Installing 64bit ubuntu in 32bit win 7 dualboot

    The bottom line is that a 64-bit computer can run a 32-bit Operating System but the 32-bit can't run the 64-bit OS. Looks like he can go either way as desired but I'd sure try the LiveCD/LiveDVD first to see if all the hardware is supported, I haven't had but one problem and it was with Linux Mint 17 not working on an older Notebook with the Centrino setup [PAE/Physical Address Extension] so I put Linux Mint 13 on it, works fine..

    I know what you mean, I do the same thing with flash drives. When I find one I really like, like Zorin OS 9, I`ll put it in a VM, even though a VM can`t use all your hard earned hardware.
