Windows glitches freezes every few seconds after running. ga-ep43-ud3l
Hi everyone, Have been trying to troubleshoot this problem for a few months now, so i thought i would ask for some help. So thanks in advance... :)
System:
Gigabyte ga-ep43-ud3l
Kingston SSD running windows / WD Black Caviar 1.5T Storage
2 x 2Gig ADATA Ram
NEW Asus HD 5450 Silent Video Card
My system usually works fine after a shutdown. It may work fine for a few mins or hours... Then,,,
my system will quickly glitch or pause every 2-4 seconds after running. The mouse, video and sound all glitch every few seconds. The system is still usable in this state, but its a pain in the butt. Putting system to sleep will not resolve, needs full shutdown.
So it seems like a ram problem, since a full shutdown resolves the problem... but I have tried to alternate ram (1 at a time) and try different locations but still same issue, I only have the 2 matching ram chips to test with...
I have tried:
-Format windows (Both Win 7 Ultimate and Home)
-Test Ram individually and in alternate locations
-Just replaced video card (Asus HD 5450 Silent)
Now what...
-Well I am wondering if I should buy another ram chip to test, but am unsure because i have tested both ram individually and both do the same thing.
... Maybe a ram testing program would do the trick??
-Anyone think this could be a power supply issue?
-Lastly possibly bad motherboard or processor, but seems less likely.
Thanks for your support :)
