I really hate to hear that man. Yeah, a failing hard drive can do all kinds of crazy things. I highly suggest you have someone take out that hd and try and retrieve your data.
click the scale icon between the plus and the triangular warning icon at the top right of each of our posts. Make sure you click the one on one of my posts and not your own. I appreciate it. :) Although I regret to hear about your troubles.
Did you get the reputation. I could only do one though since I have to spread some reputation to do more. I've done the max. Thank You :)
Hello? Are you still there? I can't thank you enough. I don't know what happened but I tried starting it up and it worked and the everything is fast again. Maybe the startup repair fixed it since after it didn't recognise the drive, it did a memory diagnostic. Thank you so much once again. I really appreciate it.
Hey, since it is running now. Do a search for system restore and make sure that it is turned on and active on your C:. It sounds like it's not on since you didn't have any restore points. Once you turn it on though, make sure you do a restore point right now. That way, if in the future you have a similar problem, you know you'll be able to bring it back from the dead.
It was already on. It just didn't recognise the drive which was why. But I'm backing up the data now.
