Did you try to update your BIOS and ended up deleting it?

That could be a great disaster, you can try reflashing your bios but i cant help you with that. lets wait for the experts to see your post.

    Good luck man.

You guess that`s what you did ? Either you tried to flash the bios or you didn`t.

Please fill in your specs, we have no idea what we are talking about here. Exact make and model of pc.

And no it`s not as simple as re installing it again.

Does the motherboard have a BIOS reset button on it, on the IO shield ?

If you get no help here, contact the manufacturer.

So when you power on the pc (laptop ?) you get absolutely nothing on the screen ?

Once again, please fill in your specs.

Page 112 talks about the bios, maybe it might help.

Pretty tough to delete a bios I mean you really have to go out of your way.

Makes me wonder if OP understands what the BIOS is and where it's seen during boot. I can't understand how one would mess up the BIOS settings while messing with OS changes. I mean, what does "blinking lights" have to do with BIOS?

Yep, that`s why I asked him to contact HP, they will know best.

A lot of sites have the ability to chat right with a representative.

Nothing on the screen at all could mean a bad screen or that part I can`t think of the name of right now.
