[Bug] Switched User without leaving Desktop

So I just recently got a Latitude E7440. Its my work laptop so I'm logged in as a standard user but I have an admin user that I can use to install software and such. I was in the process of installing some camera software when my user switched from the standard user to the admin user. It didn't log off or anything I still had all of my open webpages and documents. Its not an everyday occurrence but I was wondering if this was something that could be disabled so that it doesn't happen again.

Your statement seems contradictory; you have an admin account for installing software and while installing some camera software (which should require an admin account) the user switched from a standard to admin. Just trying to get some clarification.
