Will I be able to install the beta after the 10th?

Hi, I have a question that hopefully some of you will be able to answer. I already have the beta installed by my friend is getting a new computer soon and he want to get the beta on it. I was wondering if I already had the beta on a cd and i had a key on it will he be able to install the beta after the 10th? Or will microsoft make is impossible to install the beta after the 10.

Yes, you should still be able to install W7 after this date - being a Beta, there will be situations where reinstallation is a necessity (system corruption caused by an incompatible program, for example). This date is just referring to when the download availability of W7 Beta to the public is stopped. Of course, this might change as the deadline has already been extended, but anyone wanting to test W7 and who hasn't downloaded is strongly recommended to do so ASAP.

    Hello Master Machines,

According to Microsoft so far, the Windows 7 beta will stop working on August 1, 2009. Until then, you should have no problems.

    Hope this helps,
