Can't change icon for Sleep shortcut?

Created a sleep shortcut using this command: rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0, disabled Hibernate, and the sleep command works perfectly. However, its icon is very generic cr*p, and when I clicked "change icon," the only icon showing was the geneic folder-like icon. What happened to the list of icons? And if I can't get tot he list, how can I change the icon? Thanks.

EDIT: Just noticed that when I brought the computer out of sleep that "Locked" now appears above the password field. Everything worked alright, but I'd also like to know what "Locked" means and why it is there?

For the icon, after you click on Change Icon, browse to

    %SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll

that's where all the normal icons reside.

    Hello Flycaster,

You can use Option Two in Method Two of the tutorial below to help more with changing the icon as Rich posted above if needed.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks for your help. The trouble I was having was finding the icons. Out of curiosity, how come the icon file didn't show up when "change icons" was clicked - it had shown up when I was tweaking other shortcuts that I wanted on the taskbar?

    You're welcome flycaster.

When you click on the "Change Icons" button it only opens to the location of the currently used icon. If there wasn't a icon used, then it will be blank. You would just need to "Browse" to another location if you wanted to use a different icon that is not at the current location instead.
