Win 7 Power options not working - computer will not shut down

The thread title states my case. I ran powercfg -energy and am posting the pdf file with the results. It has a lot of stuff in it. If somebody can take a shot at it that would be great. I will get back here in a day or two.
    Thanks,

What happens when you click on Shut Down ?
    Do you get any error/warning message(s) ?
What is your Power Button action set to ?

Here's the thing. I do not want to shut down, just go to sleep. I can shut it down by clicking shut down on the main screen. Plain old everyday shutdown works but not sleep. When I have set the power options to sleep (both the screen and the computer) it hits the time set, the screen goes dark and the computer begins to power down into sleep mode except it starts right back up again and the screen comes back. Did you see the PDF file I attached??? There is something going on with a USB error's but I'm not sure how to read them.

Here's the thing. Shut Down, Sleep, and Hibernate are all different, and then there's Hybrid Sleep ...
The thread title states Shut Down, no mention of Sleep in the title or Post #1.

Here is a tutorial by Brink you should work through:
Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems

Make sure you check for requests and last wake info.

Do you use Hybrid Sleep ?

fwiw, I have more USB errors in my energy reports. Sleep, Hibernate, and Hybrid Sleep work correctly.
