firstly, I haven't the foggiest as to what I am doing. found the forum, windows 7 genuine problem and wrote down all the instructions to follow, the clkd on download as per the title and and and talk about confused. soooooo, any help is greatly appreciated.

Never knew you had to change your security settings to run this program.

    Simply follow it`s instructions.

You should not be getting a pop up telling you tell download a Genuinr Windows, you would have a permanent watermark o the desktop telling you windows is not Genuine,

    Is windows activated ?

Click the start button, right click computer, then click properties. What does it under Windows Activation ?
