Can't switch user accounts.

    I go to switch users and the administrator account does not show up.

    Tony,

    Run the command in the tutorial below, and post back with it's results to see if it may help ID what the issue is with your "Tony 2" account. :)

    Don't know why but it says that 'wmic' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    Use Log off, not switch user. Log off, now does the account show on the log on page ?

    How about when you first boot the pc does it show up then ?

    Did you do the cmd exactly as the tutorial that Brink posted?


    wmic useraccount list full



    wmic useraccount list full >"%userprofile%\Desktop\UserAccountDetails.txt"

    **I'm not understanding how someone is the administrator and all of a sudden forgets how to use the administrator account.

    You've another problem to address. But go about fixing the initial one first.


    In a command prompt run the below, and upload the txt file it generates here.
