    Windows search inconsistent, dependant on scope of search


    I have a file, "07-Vendesi saggezza.mp3" which can be found in quite a few directories across the drives on my system.
    If I restrict the search to E: then I get a list of occurrences found on drive E: (Search_E.jpg)
    If I search "Computer", then the search finds matches, but after finding one match on E: it seems to hang, and eventually displays an incomplete list (Search_Computer.jpg)

    Is there something I can do to find all of the occurrences across my system?

    I would try Everything search. Much faster and more relevant than Windows search.
