Need to restore original color profile for monitors

I tried to calibrate my monitor, and overwrote the original color profile (which I believe is "Generic PnP Monitor"). But now I don't like how it turned out.

Is there any way I can restore the original Windows color profile for monitors?

    Hi
I believe every monitor has a settings or menu options button on it to reset to default,
Usually next to the power button,
Fill in your system spec's and be sure to include the monitors make and model,
    Cheers.

need Windows default color profile for monitors

I wasn't referring to the monitor's internal settings, but to Windows color space management:

Go to the Control Panel, view all items, and select Color Management. A window will come up showing all the color profiles that Windows knows about.

I overwrote the default one, and now I wish I could get it back to recalibrate Windows for my monitor.
