Solved How to turn on Windows Defender after uninstalling Norton
Some users, including myself, have and big issue with the Catalyst Control Center, specifically with graphics drivers because of their size, combined with the size of CCC. my advice is to take the route I did, uninstall the CCC and all of its components, and install a program called DriverMax. It will scan your system, and you can download a graphics driver from there. The driver I have is called the Standard VGA Adapter, but it offers my regular 1366x768 screen resolution, and as a bonus, after installing it, set DriverMax to not load with the system on startup, so then when you boot, the time CCC takes to load is taken out of the equation on PC boot, DriverMax wont boot either because you turned it off in the system startup options, and then you'll still have a good screen resolution. Results may vary depending on screen size, I'm not sure, but it worked for it, and it's worth a try, may even get a faster boot as well without CCC cluttering up your boot and slowing it down :)
Maxie, I still can't get it to turn on. NSA, Greg did remove CCC last night. I will definitely give DriverMax a try.
