Gadgets wont start build 7000 x64

    Gadgets wont start build 7000 x64


    I have done the trick to enable gadgets with UAC turned off and I can get into the gadgets screen but when I click to add a gadget nothing happens. I have tried downloading a few and none would start!

    Have you tried to enable UAC again to see if they are still working with it on?

    Have you by any chance unchecked Show Desktop Items ? :)


    Must be checked in order to show gadgets and icons.

    Yes how stupid of me! I had it unchecked as I am using objectdock so didnt need to see the desktop icons! Thanks for the help its working great now!
