Possible to have program exempted from mouse hover grabs focus

I like the option to automatically set focus to a program when the mouse cursor hovers over it. However, when I run XBMC to my TV (which I control with my Harmony Remote), I lose focus because the mouse could be anywhere. Is there a way or a program that can grant an exemption such as when this program is open, that the mouse knows not to steal its focus?

    Thanks

This is an easy one. This is another monitor. If your mouse disappears then try to drag it into your screen. If you want to use that as your main monitor then press the Windows button and P and choose projector only.

I have 3 desktop monitors and a TV in another room. If I'm in the other room, and start XBMC, the cursor steals the focus if it last stopped on one of the three monitors. I don't have a keyboard or mouse in my TV room.

Is this an Xbox being used to control these TV's and monitors? If so I would ask in an Xbox forums.
