    HEUGE EVENT VIEWER,wanna see

So lately I've been having issues with my PC,that I feel were caused by my dying STORAGE HDD. With that drive now removed from my PC,it seems to run OK now...

However I still have underlying problems,my EVENT VIEWER IS HUGE...riddled with many errors, warnings and few Criticals

I think having remnants of WMSE AntiVirus is the cause,as now I use only avast!

Would anyone be interested in assessing my Event Log. As I am worried my Windows Install may be at stake.

PS. I am noob,so you'll have to provide directions for me to access the log file document.

Thanks for helping in this matter.

You say "it seems to run OK now" and then immediately say "I still have underlying problems".

    Those statements contradict each other.

Everybody's Event Viewer is huge. That's the nature of Windows.

If you have specific performance issues, start a thread stating what they are. The size of Event Viewer isn't a problem. You should expect all sorts of warnings and errors in it.

Ok maybe I worded my post wrong...but to say "seems" means;from Merriam Webster:
: to appear to be something or to do something : to have a quality, appearance, etc., that shows or suggests a particular characteristic, feeling, etc.
—used with it to make a statement about what appears to be true based on what is known

Like I said I am pretty green with Diagnosing Windows Problems,I just thought the sheer amount of errors and warnings in my Event Viewer was cause for alarm. Also there are some CRITICAL EVENTS as well...

If you have a specific performance problem, start a thread with the details.

Event Viewer can help in solving problems, but it's not clear you have one.

With any luck at all, you wouldn't ever need to look at Event Viewer. I'd guess 90% of all Windows users have no idea what it is and have no need to.
