Can't log in to my sister's user account. How do I fix this?

My user account is an admin, hers isn't. Just realized her account can't login. When clicking on her profile picture to login, it says "Logging Off" even after a restart and when the pc just starts up. Then the screen will go black, then comes back to the user profiles screen to login.

Hello go back to where you are in your admin account you should be able to delete her account and then reset it. See if that works...

While Deleting an Account should offer to back up all the files to the desktop, if not I would first create the new User account User Account - Create - Windows 7 Help Forums then move over the files from the old account. There is no "reset" of an account, just creating and deleting.

What could have caused this? Is there no way of fixing this?

You can try from the Admin account running full scans with Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware
to first check for infection, then test the System files for integrity using SFC /SCANNOW Command.

If those fail to repair the other account you could as a last resort try a Repair Install.

    Hi,

You can try making your sister's account as an admin, see if it can log.in.

    or

try doing a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
on the "what's next when i have clean boot environment". try your sisters account to log.in.

    Regards
