Of course IMGburn might be considered by other programs and not by MSE, every program is different.

MSE scans during idle time too.
I've used MSE in the past on other machines
I've never even heard of IMGBurn before coming to this site so I will have to defer to Wolfgang and yourself on that one

Woohoo - I think this is finally done!!

Thank you all for your patience and your help and support

Since my "two active partitions" problem has been solved, AND I understand how it got that way in the first place (and how to avoid/fix it if it ever happens again) I will go ahead and mark this as SOLVED

Once again, my thanks to all of you - Brian, Greg, Wolfgang and all the rest of you - I could not have done this on my own.

ImgBurn is an ISO burning/extracting program it has nothing to do with Anti-Virus, it was just a program we were using as an example. (great program if you know what it`s for and how to use it)

    The Official ImgBurn Website

The newer versions have hidden garbage in them, where as the older versions were just the straight up program and you didn`t have to worry about the download so much.

Thanks for clarifying about IMGBurn - if I ever decide to consider using it, I'll know to be wary ...

Now I'm off to tackle my next problem - in a new thread, of course
