    Folder view "Group by" setting not saved


    I have a problem...

    Folder view "Group by" setting not saved

    -after closing the folder then reopen it
    -after a reboot or shutdown


    I want to group by > date but it is loosing this setting each time

    Hello madmax2,

    See if after resetting all folder views back to default, you may be able to set it and have it be remembered. :)

I've set the default folder view to Details for all drive folders. But the folder I am currently working from is accessed through the internet, i.e. the file path at the top of the window starts with "The Internet". This defaults to icon view even though I applied the Details view to all...

Hi everyone, I have recently been granted admin rights on my work computer. While the computer was locked down, the Aero visual effects were set to "adjust for best performance". I can change it to "adjust for best appearance" and the Aero effects appear - until I reboot the computer....
For some reason the active network shows "Public network", so I wanted to change it to "Home network", but the changed setting could not be saved or the "Save Changes" was grayed. This happened on my home network. What could be wrong?
