    Windows 7 hidden file types?

    Hey Guys,

I am having a slight issue while backing up a drive using freefilesync. When it completes it matches the file size when right clicking properties which is 1.43TB.. The folder count also matches up but the file type is off.

I think i have it figured out and that FFS will not copy over hidden files such as .ini and .db which I believe are not needed anyway but I want to make sure the amount of missing files matches up so far .INI and .DB make up for a good chunk of them but not all of them..

What are some other filetypes that may be hidden that I can search for ?

    Thanks!

I use sync to back up user files, and a backup prog to do backups. Generally I used aomei's backupper with very good results, and it's free.

I guess the ini and db files where filtered by default but I cant seem to figure out what makes up the rest of the missing files
