    Laptop problem


    i have acer extensa 6600 with 1.6 ghz processor and 512 mb ram with a battery problem it cannot run without battery plugged in but from many days it it is not booting up when i connect charger the charging light appears and it shows fully charged (green light) when i push power button nothing happens and the charging light disappear .Then i have to put out batter and insert it again but the same problem.one day it starts but not displaying any thing and after 5 min automatically shutdown

    Sounds like there is an issue with the battery or a short in the battery connections / charging unit.

    what is the result when you use without battery ie) use only with AC adapter?

DVD Problem on my laptop

Hi all, My DVD stopped working he bios dose not recognize it so I guess I need to replace it. The problem I have is I tried an external DVD, but the drivers will not install so it will not work either. I hope someone can tell me if this is usual? Dan
