    dual booting DOS - fire panel software


    Hi

    I have win7 home premium 64 bit, I have fire panel software which needs dos to allow connection to fire panel.

    how do i dual boot my laptop to use dos? or can I use vmware to load dos?

    Your help would be much appreciated

    I'd try Vmware or VirtualBox. I don't think you are going to have any luck trying to run DOS native on today's hardware.

    How do you setup dual boot DOS if you don't want to use Vmware or VirtualBox?

    I remember doing this years ago on a XP os; back then it was fairly straight forward!!

    Try this link and see if it helps:

    Thanks, I was programming around with: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and then I remembered
    that dual booting 16bit & 64bit had some sort of unsolved issues, thus my request for this.

    Lets see if it is useable [ THPC: Dual-Boot MS-DOS 7.10 and Windows 7 on your Windows 7 computer ] in some manner.
