Check and see if you have KB2952664 installed, if you do, Reinstall KB3035583, then uninstall KB 29952664, then uninstall KB3035583. Then hide both updates.
I do not have any piece of KB2952664 on my PC anywhere. It has shown up within the past hour as an offered update(!). I've hidden it.
Digging through my Registry shows a ton of entries for GWX setup.
KB3035583 has left some remnants in my System32 folder:
Do we have to turn off windows update altogether ?
This is getting ridiculous.
I'm like wondering the same thing
Yea I don't believe it's time for that but is past time to shut off auto updating and review all updates Before loading them
If some don't pass the smell test wait
No one has ever died because they didn't load a recommended or optional windows update :)

Actually, I read I about one guy who did die because he didn't download and install an update. I don't remember who, when, or where but I do know it's true because I read it on the internet and I read that they can't post things on the internet if it isn't true.
This means that the way the upgrade is presented and installed is of critical importance – even though it will be free – for Microsoft to avoid a storm of protest.
They may have already started to protest. I wouldn't be surprised in seeing Microsoft to issue an mandatory update to remove those files.

Guys, is this the way to uninstall kb2952664? Seems it won't go away no matter how many times I uninstall it it just reinstalls itself!

Just received today's night (here) from Windows Update the Kb2990214 listed as optional update and i've hide that one too along the two previous already mentioned here.
Strange, thought after reading this update was back in October 2014?
