    Does Virus Scanner Function For All Users?


    Does a virus scanner function for all users?


    In the past, I never set up my computer for another user. I have just set up some computers for another user besides myself, and thrown a guest account in there too. I am using Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Virus scanners function for all users. To do otherwise would be a serious security hole which malware authors would be sure to exploit.

Hey, before a 1 week i had norton 360 anti virus and his reboot time took 90 seconds! so i change the anti virus to avast free anti virus. Both are good, but i know you recommend to use a virus scanner and delete the antivirus. which virus scanner you are recommend?
I was curious if I could install a x86 printer/scanner driver on a x64 system? I had to install the x64 driver through Microsoft Update. When I installed the software that controls the scanner the software says no scanner detected. The software works fine in XP and I still see driver support...
