    Time changes

It has happened to me twice since installing W7.

I have the right time with adjust for daylight savings time checked.

For no reason (than I can tell) the time jumps back 1 hour. After I reset it, it's ok but for how long.

    Any ideas..

I think that you should check to make sure that you are set for the correct time zone (country). Make sure that you are set for the correct date and time (bottom right of your screen).

It has the correct time zone (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). It also has (Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings time) checked.

Does it sync time with the internet like XP did? If so, how often does it do that. That might be what caused it to change.

Go to Date and Time and check your internet time settings (click on the date/time, change date..., then go to Internet time).

Go to services.msc and check that Windows Time is set there. Mine is set for manual and I haven't had a problem, but if I did, I would set it to automatic.

I went there and clicked on update now. Since it didn't change the time, I guess that isn't the problem.

I checked the time services, it is set to manual. If the time messes up again, I'll try changing it to automatic.

"Daylight Saving Time ended on Sunday, November 01, 2009 at 2:00 AM. The clock went back 1 hour at that time." That is the message I received. It is currently 6:36 PM in California as I type this.
