I'm no expert but I think your problem is caused by formatting the hard drive in another computer. It's now looking for the other computer for the proper path.
I'm not understanding why you installed the hard drive in another computer to format it.
Why didn't you just format the the hard drive in the original computer?
What data was on this hard drive before you formatted it?
Are you trying to install Windows 7 on this formatted drive?

I had this problem with mine yesterday. It had a Corrupted Boot Configuration. I ran the Windows 7 ISO disk repair utility and that's how I fixed it.
Do you have a Windows 7 ISO disk?
-
No I don't have any disc repair utility
-
Yes I'm still trying to install windows 7in the disk but getting the same error

There should be a repair utility built into the Windows 7 disk. Mine has one.

I misplaced it somewhere so now I need some other way

Try pressing F8, and see if it will boot to the System Recovery Options. If so, then you might could fix it using one of the tools in System Recovery Options. If not, you will need to burn another disk from someone else's computer.
