    Adata hv620


    HV620...
    help please,.. i am unable to access my HV620... when i plug it in the computer it tells me to format it, i did try to format it but windows was unable to format it... i tried using disk management but it still could not format it... is has a problem also of incorrect parameter.... thanks....

    Is it installed properly, can you check in Device Manager?

    yes sir device manager can read it... i also tried to uninstall it and then scan for hardware changes in device manager.. thanks...

    You can try using Partition Wizard 9 (freeware) I suppose. If it doesn't work under Windows, also try with bootable Partition Wizard media.

    How can it be 6 hours when the entire thread is 3 hours old?

    Wait a bit longer though. Or does it not move at all?
    I guess you started a full format(?). If formatting finish alright, make sure to check its health. Others will hopefully recommend the correct tool for that.

    sorry i typed the wrong number... ok i will wait for bit longer... yup i did a full format...
    anyway is it ok if the computer enters standby mode?....

    It shouldn't enter standby, I don't know, poke it time to time just in case. Is there any activity on HDD led? Did % change?

    OMG.... it still the same... it didn't move at all...
    still at total % of 63...
