Rarely does that error actually mean that SATA drivers are needed since they are all in the installer. However you can try inserting the drivers per GokAy.

Also make sure you are not using a USB3 port, which is normally blue inside. Unplug everything else too.

When you boot the DVD are you getting a choice for UEFI DVD drive? This would mean you have a UEFI BIOS. I'd also enter BIOS setup at boot to look for any UEFI, EFI, CSM, LEgacy BIOS settings and report back those settings choices.
