    no "move to" option

I want to move files from one folder to another but it is only giving me the option to copy. There is no "move to" option AT ALL! How can you have no "move to" option at all?! I have never seen it since I got my computer like half a year ago. When I right click on the files I can see a "send" to option but it doesn't any options to send to besides desktop or turning it into a zip file

you can check folder privacy setting also. may be you don;t authorized to move folder so first check permission which you give this folder

hi there, just joined and first post.

when you right click on file to move hold shift key and in the context menu extra options will appear in "send to" link. when you hover on "send to" all your folders will appear.

If you have full permissions to be moving the files then right click on them, drag to the new destination and select Move here.

hovering over "send" doesn't bring up all my folders; it only brings up: compressed zip folder, desktop, fax recipient, mail recipient, documents, media info, DVD drive and Skype. it makes no difference if I hold shift or do not hold shift.

i went to this link and at the bottom it had this:

To Add "Move To Folder" to Context Menu
    A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 3 below.
    Add_Move_To_Folder.reg
    download

so i just clicked on download and now i see the "move to" option when I right click just like I did on my old computer. mystery solved. Thanks for the help :)
