Language Bar keeps showing unwanted language

Hi, I found this thread that has some similarities to my issue: Unwanted keyboard in language bar

Since, maybe, yesterday, "EN" was visible on my task bar. So when I clicked on it, I saw that there's another language, that I have nothing to do with, displayed.

In the settings, I only see EN under the language Installed Services box.

And this is what I see in the Registry Editor. I don't know much about this stuff. But based on that other thread I pulled out this information in case it can help.

    Code:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload]
    "1"="00000409"

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Substitutes]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Toggle]
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CMF\SqmData\BootLanguages]
    "en-US"=dword:00000034
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\CMF\SqmData\BootLanguages]
    "en-US"=dword:00000034
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\CMF\SqmData\BootLanguages]
    "en-US"=dword:00000034
Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

    Don

Scan your computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free just in case. https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Hi bud, I already have it installed, with Real Time protection and do routine scans regularly. I will scan again right now. Any other suggestions?

Scan with rootkit option enabled in settings. Visually check the scan screen to make sure, there needs to be a rootkit entry in the chain of scan phases.

Hmm, wonder what would happen if you add that keyboard yourself again and remove afterwards. There are a few of them, so try I guess.

If you want, you may uninstall Arabic Language. Option 2 of Display Language Packs - Install and Uninstall

Hey, so I disabled a couple of Apple services and restarted my computer and the problem seems to have gone. Will monitor and see if it reappears.
