Problems with index in a new hard drive

    Hello,
I have a problem with search & index. A few weeks ago I installed a new hard drive, but Windows doesn't index any of the files I keep in this hard drive, despite the location is included in the index list.
    Any help?

    Thank you,
    Bea

    Hello GokAy,
I already did this, but it didn't work. Only detects files in drive C:.

    Thanks for your answer

Is that drive mounted to A: or B: by any chance?

Yep. Windows still thinks it's a floppy and won't index floppies.

Click the Start Orb, Right click Computer, select Manage.

In the left pane, click Disk Management.

At the top, Right click the drive you want to change then select Change Drive Letter...
