    These items .....

    • BingSvc
    • CCleaner Monitoring
    • Google Update
    • GoogleChromeAutoLaunch
    • Adobe ARM
    • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • AdobeAAMUpdater-1.0
    • ArcadeMovieService
    • BackupManagerTray
    • EgisTecPMMUpdate
    • EgisUpdate
    • iTunesHelper
    • LManager
    • Norton Online Backup
    • Power Management
    • QuickTime Task
    • StartCCC
    • SuiteTray
    • ImageBrowser
    • EOS Utility.lnk

Feel free to uncheck them right now. You dont need them to auto start with windows and run in the background always. When you need any of them, all them from Start > All Programs. They are all installed in your computer.

    These items ....

    • OneDrive
    • SUPERAntiSpyware (depends on your license type; if it is the free version, uncheck it straight)
    • BingDesktop

Depends on your choice. You may keep them, you may not. If not, you will have to start them manually when needed.

    This item

    • SynTPEnh

Is a must there. It is the touchpad driver. Keep it.

I dont know what it is ....

    • CenturyLinkTouchPointAgent

So I cannot say anything about it. Sorry.

    This item ....

    • mcui_exe

I will not recommend you to use McAfee. It causes more bad than good. For Antivirus, Use Avast or Avira or MSE if you want a free one, or F Secure or ESet if you want a paid one.

Okay. Thanks, Arc. I don't even use McAfee. That was probable something I left out when I was removing the Crapware, that comes pre-installed on Acer products.

    Welcome, mate.

The slimmer the startup folder, the happier the computer.

Redoing the whole system is a pain. I don't want to do it again. Others are reporting this issue. There has to be a workaround for the issue.
The work around is to be patient and wait. Frankly this whole thread is a waste of every bodies time and effort as you did not follow through with Gregrockers reinstall recommendations. The full version of Windows 10 is not out until 29th of July and frankly a user like yourself (a noob) needs to wait for several months at least before (Up)grading to Windows 10 if you don't want an unstable PC. Early OS adopters fly by the seat of their pants as they know how to restore their baulked system in 15 to 20 mins. Now relax and stop worrying about Windows 10 and the stupid update.

You have no right to jump down my throat like that. Have you ever heard of Autism and a Learning Disorder? I didn't understand Greg's instructions, therefore that's why I didn't do a clean install. I am not a noob. I came to this forum to get help. Do they have a forum like this for the special needs? Probably not! Put yourself in my shoes, before you jump to conclusions. I appreciate Greg's help that he offered me. He helped me a lot. But, some people I can understand better than others. Have a blessed day.

The upgrade notification hasn't appeared for everyone yet. A friend of mine hasn't had his yet. I would just wait a week or two. Perhaps it's something that will be rolled out slowly. Remember it's not being released until July 29th so you don't need to do it just yet.

Of course I do hve every right to tell you you are wasting every bodies time .Yes I am very familiar with disabilities. I have a mentally retarded younger brother and I myself am disabled with heart disease and cannot work or do to much without being in chronic pain.
Aside from that you may have caught me in pain and a little aggressive with my posting so I apologise but you do not have to worry about getting windows 10 installed for some time yet. Also you should probably fix problems you have with your 7 as they will most likely be carried forward into your new OS.
You should find a friendly member who lives fairly near you to help you out with a reinstall. Everyone on here has different abilities. I am a hardware guy as I was an engineer but I can also do some software issues too. That is what is good about the forum. Like I said YOU need to wait before you install Windows 10 since I believe what will be available on July 29th will be buggy and unstable

Just a couple of months ago, Jesse was hell bent on installing the Preview, whether he did or not is anyone`s guess.

We tried to help him as much as possible.
