    What the crash dump says:

You've got a problem with Internet Download Manager shell extension.

    Suggestions:

Check for and install IDM updates.
Try disabling the add on on IE then rebooting to see if the problem remains.

IDM is free right? If the problem remains - uninstall it and reboot. If the problem persists upload a fresh explorer crash dump.

If the problem is fixed - try fresh installing the latest version of IDM.

IDM is paid, free should be 30-day trial.

    IDMShellExt64.dll
    IDMNetMon64.DLL

Both dumps indicate problems with the above files. IDM again!

I saw something similar once before where the crash dump indicated problems with IDM but the actual problem turned out to be with some .zip file manager. What do you use for zip files?

I want to thank you for your time.
I have decided to upgrade this drive to Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7TE250BW) with an StarTech.com 2 Port SATA 6 Gbps PCI Express SATA Controller Card PEXSAT32.
I will reformat and reinstall OS I will pay attention as I load apps to see if this issue presents itself again ( knocking on wood )
Again thank you so much for your time.
Win zip to manage my zip files.

Shell extensions are a frequent cause of explorer problems.

When I have such problems, I use ShellExView to show me those extensions.
Any extensions not published by Microsoft are suspect.
One by one I disable them using ShellExView ... until the problem goes away.

    Much easier than reinstalling Windows!
