Folder options in windows 7

Hello,
I am trying to find out how I can have a certain folder (Office signatures) lists same name files with 3 different extensions. Html, Rtf and Txt. What I am trying to accomplish is to have a microsoft office outlook signature go across the page so I have 3 columns instead of 4. I used to be able to do that in XP but not in windows 7. I can do it with the preview pane opened but not with it closed as it shows up as 4 columns. Also when I leave the folder and go back the preview pane has taken up of the page as well as other folders I open. Any help appreciated.
