Have been following this thread with interest and can't see if you have tried a different minitor. In an earlier post you said quote "I used old slow Windows XP computer. (Core 2 Duo). There is no corruption of images on that computer."
Can you hook up the monitor you used on the XP machine to your Win 7 PC?

    Hi Mitchell 65,
(I did not log here for several days.) Thanks for your post. Yes I have tried different monitorS. Amongst others, the possibilities were the Drivers, the Cables in the computer, monitor cables, the monitor itself, the card reader, the SD card....... I have 2 AOC monitors and an hp monitor. All give the same result. I believe it may be windows related problem.

I have removed the office 2007 after carrying out diagnostic check. I have tried all the ideas that GoKay suggested.

My next solution, as GoKay suggested, is to start again. I have asked the Video Editing software vendors to give me permission to carry out several TEST installations without considering there is misuse of the software license keys.

(But then I will have lost access to whatever is "living in this computer and causing "mischief". Running away from the problem and never knowing.).

I am considering a camera club or photoshop forum.

I am still looking for more ideas to test.

    Thanks
