    Cut/Copy/Paste Not working


    This issue just started happening. I work as a Help Desk Tech and one of our end users complained that he was unable to cut/copy/paste from one folder to another. He is using Win7 Pro. When I checked out his computer, he still had functionality to drag and drop, but when trying to use ctrl+c, ctrl+x and ctrl+v, or right clicking to bringing up the menu, when attempting to paste, that option was greyed out. After some research, I found online that One of the windows security updates had caused this issue. We use a Monitoring software on each work station that has an issue with Security update KB3057839. After uninstalling this update, the Paste option is now functioning again.

    Long story short, If you are having this issue, this may be the fix. It appears that it started happening after the auto Update on 6/13/15. Good luck to all!
