    Hi rekoon and welcome to 7F. Click Start right click Computer, choose Properties then on the left click Advanced System Settings and in the Advanced tab click the Settings button under Performance in the Visual Effects tab scroll down and untick Use Drop Shadows for Icon Labels on the Desktop apply then OK and see if it helps

    Rekoon you might find that your icons as viewed upon wallpaper background, are not as clearly seen as before. Especially if the wallpaper is from a photograph.

    thanks m.r shimshom about your answer , but windows 7 it's very bad in old games and very ugly system already...
    so why microsoft not Supported windows xp by net fram work 4.5 im very sad about this, if you can get windows xp work fram net v4.5 on xp , I will be very grateful..........................

Remove shadow Icon Boxes

How do I remove the desktop icon BOXES? I have already unchecked the: Use drop shadows for icon lables on desktop. The shadow boxes are still there.
