Try repairing your PC with Window Repair Disk.
    To create disk go to

This May Help To Fixed Any Corrupt File.

If You explorer.exe doesn't start automatically, then press ctrl + shift + esc to open task manager.
Now click on File--New Task(Run..), Now type explorer.exe in create new task window and click ok.

you will now see your all desktop icons.

For explorer see post 2 - Windows 7 Home Prem x64 Will not load Explorer.exe on startup

Try a System Restore to a prior date - System Restore

Run cmd as admin: sfc /scannow

    Repair Install

You must have at least 8.87 GB + what is currently being used of free space (more if you have a larger installation) on the hard drive/partition Windows 7 is installed on to do a repair install.
