Re: a problem with renaming a exe file

1st off my os is Win7 home 32bit. I am having a problem renaming "wolf3d.exe". no mater what I do Win7 will not let me rename the file. Win7 reports the file as open when it is not. See the attachment. I have tried to rename it in File commander, Windows Explorer and in safe mode. I still get the same error message The only difference in the error message is it will reflect that it will say wheather it is Windows explorer or free commander . I have no problems renaming any other file. Just this one. This is driving me nuts.

Get Unlocker or lockhunter to unlock the file
LockHunter is a free 64/32 bit tool to delete files blocked by any processes
    Download Unlocker 1.9.2

You can also try to end task for that file manager and rename in windows explorer.

Unlocker finely took care of the problem. I still don't know why the file was locked up but Unlocker fixed it.
