    Monitor not working when my computer is starting up


    Whenever i start my computer everything is working except my monitor. Monitor keeps blinking on and of every second with a purple screen. It takes around 15-20 minutes until the monitor is working every time i turn on the computer. This also happens when the computer goes in sleeping modus.

    Monitor is BenQ LCD T2210HD

    Computer speccs listed on my profile, i assume you can see them. (first time using this forum) :)

    Try, remove power plug from PC and monitor for a few minutes, and re-plug.
    Load defaults in BIOS (either first screen or exit menu), if you can't get into BIOS check your motherboard manual for a CMOS reset.

    Try:
    - another cable
    - the same cable on another port of graphic card
    - connect PC to another monitor (your TV for example)
    - install GPU on a friend's computer and see if it does the same
