    PC freezing just after booting

Hi, My PC will freeze just after starting.
When I boot up, the mouse pointer will freeze and I can not do anything at all. I have to hold the power button in to power down. I then restart into Safe Mode and restart again normally without doing anything. The strange thing is it will run fine all day until the next morning, when it happens all over again.
I checked all my drivers, all ok. My Windows is all up to date.
I have a backup image of my system made with Acronis, so I decided to reinstall with this image. I was hoping this would fix it as I know this image is ok (used it a few times) but the same thing is happening.
I hope I have explained the problem ok.

    Thanks

    Try loading defaults in BIOS.
