    "Sort by Name" absurdity

Ok, the inability to sort files manually in Windows 7 is inexplicably missing. Why you'd go to the trouble to create such a nice OS and leave out something so simple and useful is beyond me. This led me notice another issue...

In my expandable folders and toolbars "sort by name" is my only option for sorting. However, it doesn't sort by convention indexing. If you have 2 files, e.g. "picture" and "picture 2" it will place "picture 2" above "picture". Or, if you have "picture" and "picture crop", "picture crop" will come first. This makes my branching toolbar folders look like sloppy, confusing cluster****s and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. If you do away with manual sorting don't you think you should implement a standard indexing system?

Anyone in the know have any idea if it'd be easy for MS to include a manual sort feature in an update? Seems pretty simple and I've heard much groaning about it.

What "seems" simple is never simple.

Right click in a blank space in Windows Explorer, instead of on a file, and I think that you will find what you want.
