Well, I reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled Windows 7, and it was moving pretty damn fast. Then, I installed my video driver through the Windows update, then BAM, it slowed right now. I then removed that driver, and installed a different driver, an older one that was for Vista (not the most updated one though), and now it seems to be running a lot better.
Thanks guys!!!
Yes. Never use Windows Update drivers for video.
You're now using the right driver. Enjoy.
You're welcome.
Now I know, for now on, Windows will not dictate what I use for my drivers. LOL. What a pain in the a$$.
Another thing that I noticed, if I am on straight battery, my PC runs good, if I plug it in, it seems to bog down just a tad. I know I need a new battery because it does not charge up all the time.
Does it run choppy after a wake from sleep? That is why im here in the forum to find out.. That is when my problems are happening.. If you do a full reboot-- does it then run smooth? Im thinking there is a problem on wake.. No answers yet-- but we will find them..

Most issues with waking from sleep are related to the motherboard drivers - but best to start you own thread for this and people should be able to advise further
Might be a problem with the charger as well. Sometimes they can get messed up and under power the computer.... Not sure though, they used to have a problem with certain toshiba laptops that the MB screwed up the power source and instead of 19.5v it was 19v which kind of worked.... But that's another whole problem. Try another power cord if you have one (just make sure it fits and the v=v and the mA is greater than the mA you have).
