Get Windows 10 App Not Working

I do not have the get windows 10 app on my computer. The windows 10 icon has never appeared at the icon tray. My system is up to date. I have a genuine copy of windows. I have above the minimum PC specs. I have always been connected to the internet. I have tried the Windows missing icons fix batch and all of the methods. I used it and said I had all the required updates. I also have the C:\Windows\System32\GWX folder with all the required files but when I try to open it up it does not open.

No prob Max I am sure Brink can get you put straight - lots of much cleverer folk in there than me.

Solved it in the tenforums, had to enable internet explorer, had disabled it to save space as I use chrome.

I believe OP was talking about the "Windows 10 Reserved" icon

????? Windows 10 will not be released until July 29th. How did you download it already? Are you talking about the Insider Preview version?

Talking about the icon in the task bar called the get windows 10 app, its solved now do not worry.
