    Qualified Vendor List

    Hey all,

So i'm getting a SSD in about a week and I was just browsing the support page for my mobo (ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe). It's 5-6 years old and the SSD i'm getting isnt on the QVL. How concerned should I be (if at all) that my upgrade part isn't on there?

After all... the SSD is using industry standards like SATA and TRIM support is dependent on the OS right?

    Thanks!

Could you post the QVL list for SSD's?

    As usual I'm confused.

Sure thing. It's an oddly narrow and specific list

    That is really odd.
Why would we need a QVL for SSD's? A SATA drive is a SATA drive is a SATA drive......

    So pay no attention?
