Click file, select save as and select the location you want to save it to. You can also change the format if you wish. It will usually remember the last location you chose.

Oh, I get that. I've been doing that all along.
But what I want to do is change the default file save location, so that I don't have to choose every time. So it will default to where I want it.
You can change the default save location in (older) versions of Office programs, and most high end programs. But not all programs let you do that.
I understand what you want, but there is no way that I know of that will do that. However, when you do the 'save as' it usually remembers where you select and will save to there until you change it again, I'm pretty sure. That's as close as I know of.
Mine does not.
Well it does - until I shut down the PC. Then it defaults back to the Libraries\pictures folder. I've got to keep reminding it.
Sounds like I've got a "special" problem on my PC.
Holy crud! I think I've found it.
CCleaner.
I just ran it and the File Save location in Snipping tool was "cleaned".
Nothing to do with shutting down the PC. I just run the cleaner every day before shutting down.
Thanks guys. You forced me to think!
