win 7 to win 10 question
if I install the free upgrade from windows 7 to 10, and later change my mind, does anyone know if I can easily go back to windows 7?

You can go back--as far as anyone knows at this time.
How easily is yet to be determined. That's the subject of a lot of speculation, but that's all it is--speculation.
If you want to know for a fact how easy it is, wait until Windows has been out for a month or two and read up on actual reports of people who have attempted to go back. There's certainly no rush to jump to Windows 10--it will be "free" until next July.
Buy an external USB hard drive then use Macrium Reflect Free to do an image backup of your computer to the external hard drive.
Then going back to Windows 7 is never a problem and only takes 20 to 30 minutes and you will be right back to where you were when you created the backup.
Windows 10 will have a rollback feature but from what I've read it expires after 4 to 6 months so an image backup is by far the best way to go.
