Sometimes wireless is disabled when cable is used. There may be a setting in device properties (Device Management - right click wireless - properties). The easiest to test would be: try pulling the cable and then use wireless to connect to camera.

You can see the wireless connection in Network and Sharing Center - change adapter settings

I'll give it shot tomorrow. If I pull the ethernet cable, will the computer still act wirelessly without my doing anything else...like would I have set up a new wireless connection between the computer and the router?

I wouldn't know that, best is to just try it.

I'm a little fearful of "just trying it," so as a precaution I posted this (Trouble going from ethernet to wireless...). It's a pretty good description of what we have finally figured out what the root of the problem may be (computer just not connected to the router) and may prevent other problems as the solution evolves. If I knew what I was doing, we could have easily figured out that the computer wasn't wirelessly connected by merely noting that the "connection icon" at the far right of the systems tray was not a wireless connection icon, but a LAN icon.
