Formating HDD, and formating partitions, after windows made them?

step 1 - deleted partitions
step 2 - selected unlocated space and choosed for windows to install (windows asked me to have system reserved partition)
step 3 - I formated system reserved partition and primary partition
step 4 i choose primary partition and click install

step 3 is what i ask for, i formatted SYSTEM RESERVED PARTITION and PRIMARY PARTITION after windows created them.

After I formatted them System reserved partition renamed to unlocated space 85mb partition.

My question is ... is this unlocated space 85mb acts as an system reserved partition?

Asked on many places but ppl are so f.... stupid, asking me like if u delete them they cant be there,... bla bla, just retarded humanity and question is simple,

deleted all, clicked on all hdd all unlocated space, windows asked to make 2 partitions, yes, and than formated reserved, and primary, clicked primary, installed on it, is my unlocated space 85 acting like an reserved partition?

Why did you format partitions that Windows created?

Just to be sure they are formatted, and way that im used to install windows, habit to format them after win creates primary and reserved.

It is correct. System Reserved is the correct size, formatted, and is booting C as signified by having the System Active labels.

You may create and format, only create, or just click Next on Unallocated and the installer will create and format for you. It isn't an issue in any case. What's important is to delete all to get it cleanest.

The 50gb partition needs a drive letter to be useable: Drive Letter - Add, Change, or Remove in Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums

Or if you want to redistribute that or any other space to any partition, whether adjacent or not, follow How to extend partition easily with Partition Wizard - video help.

50GB is acronis for system backup.

Yeah seems even after formating that this unlocated 100mb partition is still working as an "system reserved
partition".

What made you think it was only 85 gb and Unallocated Space?

Always best to have the backup image on an external in case of hard drive failure. Having both is what I do.

It was saying 85 mb on first screen of installing windows, where i formatted them, but here in managment its 100mb.

Yeah, I read your post, I was hopping nothing I did was wrong, coz its just formating before installing, but wondered if maybe windows put some files at system reserved before installing os, or maybe it needs to be called system reserved so windows will use it, and yeah i was wondering does it now uses unlocated 100mb at all as system reserve, but looks like it does.

It is not Unallocated. It is formatted, as signified by the Primary partition label.

Had you not formatted it or C the installer would have formatted them before proceeding.
