Is my pc going into sleep mode

I log on to my office computer with logmein and it shows the computer to be offline,
This is a windows 7 x64bit - a tower with off/on button in center of tower. when I go
in to office the power light is flashing and I simply tap it to start use - that's easy, but
right now I am at home recovering from surgery and cannon log on. I would appreciate
    any suggestions. Thank you

Yes. The flashing power light is a good indication that the computer is indeed sleeping.

Ask someone that is in the office to wake it up - then you can connect and set it to never sleep. Let us know if you need help changing those settings.

It has been a while since I have used LogMeIn. I do not recall if those at your office can see what you see on the computer screen while you work from home. Hopefully, there is an option that lets coworkers only see a locked screen.

    Thank you so much,
I am not sure how to cancel the sleep mode.
I was sorta strange = all of the desktop icons that I had put
on the screen were gone and just the basic windows icons were
there, and computer was in sleep mode
    Thanks again

Control Panel - Power Options - Change Plan Settings (for the active power plan, the one that's ticked) - Put the computer to sleep - Never
    Save changes

I have no experience with LogMeIn:
Are the icons there if you browse to C:\Users\<username>? Which user does logmein use while remote login?
